Four day-old Jack Russell puppies

Before catching the ferry from Tunis to Genoa, we spent a few days at the home of Lilia (Tunisian) and Matthias (German), 10 km outside Hammamet.  Their land overlooked a green valley which they had developed into a bit of a resort.

Bread for the guests was cooked in this wood fired oven

Apart from parking for ten camper vans, they had five or six holiday cottages and a menagerie of animals – kune kune pigs, chickens, sheep, turkeys, peacocks, a miniature horse, a pair of macaque monkeys, dogs various including a 10 month old Jack Russell who had just given birth to four puppies.
