A machine circled the olive tree with an “umbrella” then shook the tree violently to release the olives into the umbrellaA tractor loaded the olives on to a trailer to be be delivered to the nearby processors A local family ran a high tech business processing the olives, some for eating and some to be made into olive oil. The whole area was pungent with the smell of the olives.
