We are now planning our motorhome trip to Italy where we will travel to Folkestone on March 11th staying overnight with our eldest daughter Kate and her husband Neil who have recently presented us with our sixth grandchild Violet who joins their firstborn Archie who is now in his fourth year. On the 12th we board the Euro tunnel train to France where we we meander our way south entering Italy and arriving in Genoa to board a ferry to Sicily on the 19th March. The ferry voyage is 20hrs arriving in Palermo on the 20th March, lets hope it is a reasonably calm voyage!!!
Hope to spend a few days exploring Sicily before crossing the Messina straights to Italy where we will explore as much as possible before arriving in Tivoli where we will stay with friends Jackie & Sergio over Easter.
On leaving Tivoli we will then travel North through Lombardy and then to Germany arriving back in the UK on 19th April, fully rested !!!!
