Preparations for Easter included a trip to buy the Caere wine.
On Easter Day. Sergio, his three brothers and their families all joined together for a meal in a local Tivoli restaurant. There were 14 of us at the table, it was a set menu with lots of courses; wine was included. The restaurant must have had 300 covers.
On Easter Monday, Sergio’s brother, Bruno and his wife Teresa came to the house to cook lunch, home made fettucine with mushrooms, lasagne and then veal cooked on the barbecue with salad and Jerusalem artichokes.
